Description

When this event is enabled the player can collect a daily item reward from the daily gift window. There are 7 items to collect which is equivalent to the 7 days of the week. These gift items can be edited or added in a specific text file. The player can also purchase gifts without waiting for the collect time. Either the player can purchase using item shop currency (cash) or use a special item that allows to drag and drop on-top of the gift slot.

Q1. How to edit the daily gifts?
R1: You can edit or add new random item gift weeks inside the file “daily_gift.txt” and always make sure you do not add more than 7 items and keep the gift item size of 1 slot only.

Q2. How to start / stop / reset / configure the event?
R2: While having the permissions of implementor you can run the command “/daily_gift_system” and you will be presented with more information about the command.

Q3. Is the waiting time real-time or play-time?
R3: Most daily gift systems work in real-time so the gifts can be collected either online or offline when the collect time comes.

Q4. Can we limit gifts for new created players?
R4: Sure, you can enable a setting which the player must have a requirement in order to collect a gift or even be accepted by the event. For example, in the tombola event of Metin2 they made a requirement for each player complete the level 30 quest of the biologist.

Q5. Can we bypass the wait time of the gifts?
R5: Yes, you can purchase a gift using cash (item shop currency) without having to wait for the time but you will have to wait that day you purchased when collecting the next day’s gift. For example, if you are in day 4 and purchased the day 5 gift without waiting, you must then wait day 5 to collect day 6, you cannot jump days. (This prevents the next gift being free in a short period of time.) You can also drag and drop a special item to unlock the gift item you want.
